Cognitive: They are able to understand
a set of instructions, express their feelings, and are
mostly potty trained. Children at this age love to hear
the same stories so they are able to follow events.

Fine and Gross Motor skill: The
brain gradually gains better control and coordination
over fine movements such as, building 6 block tower,
completing a puzzle, throwing a ball overhead, to draw
lines and circles, and stand on one foot. They attempts
a somersault, skip five to ten seconds, jump 10 times,
catch ball with both hands, complete puzzle with five
to ten pieces.

Language: Children at this age
start making the connection between words and make complete
sentences. They ask too many "Whys", "Whats"
and "Hows". Say the names of their friends
and family. Understand "which, how many" questions,
understand statements with negation, understand time
related words, properly sequenced four picture story,
oppposites, and tells stories.

Social- Emotional: Learning to recognize
these emotions, connect them to their behavior, and
to gain control over that behavior is an ongoing process.
Start to like group play activities and share toys with
other children.
